Not everyone can afford to donate a lot of money to organizations so many of these charitable organizations turned to people asking them to donate their old vehicle. Even if the vehicle was sitting abandoned and would not run at all, these organizations took the time to fix them up or sell them as scrap metal which would help them fund their charity and give them the opportunity to give back to the community of car donation.
